How to Configure TAQ Magic Keys V3.0 – Detailed Input Variable Guide

TAQ Magic Keys V3.0

This version of TAQ Magic Keys V3.0 is designed to give Traders full flexibility to customize settings according to their individual trading preferences, strategies, risk level, and trading goals.

🔧 General Input Variable Settings

Pips Multiplier

This setting adjusts how pips are calculated depending on your broker’s pricing format (4-digit, 5-digit, etc.). Most modern brokers use 5-digit pricing, so the default value is usually correct. You should only change this if your pip calculations look incorrect (for example, TP/SL appearing too small or too large). If unsure, keep it at default to avoid miscalculation. Incorrect settings here can affect all pip-based features like SL, TP, and trailing.
Default setting is “10” for XAU/USD, This mean 30 pips with 0.01 will be $3 (30 pips with 0.1 will be $30).
For BTC is “100”.

You can change pips multiplier as per your requirement while setting up v3.0

Default BUY Lot

This is the lot size used when you place a Buy trade. Every Buy order will start with this value unless modified by increment steps. For example, if you set it to 0.02 than single click will always set lot size 0.02, unless each Buy btn click more will add with 0.02 lots initially set for Buy lot increment.

You can change lot size as per your requirement while setting up V3.0

BUY Lot Increment Step

This defines how much the lot size increases with each additional Default Buy Lot. For example, if Default BUY Lot = 0.02 and Increment Step = 0.03, then each new step increases like: 0.05 → 0.08 → 0.11 → 0.14. If you click once, it may stay at default; multiple clicks trades will apply increments. Be careful, while as higher increments can quickly increase risk.

Max Lot Limit

This sets a maximum cap on how large your lot size can grow. Even if increment steps continue, the EA will not allow trades beyond this limit. For example, if max lot is 0.10, your trade will never exceed 0.10 lots. This protects your account from excessive exposure. Always set this according to your account balance.

This is the lot size used when you place a Sell trade. Every Sell order will start with this value unless modified by increment steps. For example, if you set it to 0.02 than single click will always set lot size 0.02, unless each Sell btn click more will add with 0.02 lots initially set for Sell lot increment.

For example, if Default Sell Lot = 0.02 and Increment Step = 0.02, then each new step increases like: 0.04 → 0.06 → 0.08 → 0.10. If you click once, it may stay at default; multiple clicks trades will apply increments. Be careful, while as higher increments can quickly increase risk.
